Gamekid

   Gamekid is a CG project about a boy's dilemma with moving neighborhood. My main role during production was 3D rigging, though I also did some animation, modelling and texturing.

   The characters I rigged were the main character Ash and his pet cat. For Ash I used texture planes for his face, and added an IK/FK switch. For the Cat I used a ribbon spine, as the director wanted him to be "stretchy". I also experimented with a Hind leg driven by both a spring solver and a Rotate Plane IK system.

   Before I had the Ash rig, we used a dummy rig I did not create. However, I did animate with it. If COVID-19 hadn't prevented me, I would've been an animator on the film and the 3D animation lead (focusing on the technical side of the animation).
